Frequently Asked Questions I
A few months ago, I blogged about family portrait clothing tips. This time, I will be talking about some Frequently Asked Questions that are wedding and engagement session related. I will make this post short, but if you feel like I missed some questions, feel free to comment down below and I will make sure to answer them!
Where are you located?
I am currently located in Aruba. I will be moving to The Netherlands in July 2016.
What is your style of photography?
My style of photography is meant to capture exactly who you are. Posing shots are minimum. It’s relaxed. Natural expressions and natural movements; natural moments. I photograph you talking to each other, tickling, snuggling, laughing, maybe even crying. Most of my photographs are taken with ambient light and only some of them require the use of flash.
How far in advance do you book weddings?
As soon as you get engaged 😉
Do you take any family shots at the wedding?
Yes, we take family photos immediately after your wedding ceremony. I don’t like to blog those, but I know that your moms and grandmas love them!
Do I get all of the high resolution edited photos?
Yes! I will handpick the best pictures and they will be retouched based on my artistic vision. All images that are not deemed acceptable – such as ones where blinks occur, motion-induced focus issues, and unflattering poses – are discarded immediately.
Image editing includes color corrections, artistic styles with variations different effects.
Where do engagement sessions take place?
Where ever you want! My goal is to photograph you as relaxed and comfortable as possible. In case you need help choosing your location, I am more than happy to help you with that.
What should we bring to our engagement session?
It’s always fun to bring along props. I view every couple session like a mainstream shoot–complete with models and props and scenery. I want every engagement shoot to look like it could be in a magazine, so feel free to bring things along that really reflect your fantastic personalities. Suggestions: bikes, a polaroid camera, a favorite journal, magazines you like reading. Anything! Don’t hesitate to bring anything that truly reflects you individually or as a couple.
How long does the engagement session or portrait session take?
Depending on your package it can take between 1 to 3 hours.
Can we get the RAW Files?
No.
Do you offer albums?
Of course! I will bring samples to our meeting 😉
How can I buy prints?
If you would like to purchase prints, I encourage you to do so directly from the gallery. For images you want prints of, you will see the Buy Photo tab at the top of each photo in the gallery. Simply choose the size, add them to your cart, and check out!
And because every post is better with a photo, here’s a sneak peek of a shoot I’ll be able to blog in a few weeks…
