As a photographer, there are certain moments that stand out from all the others. Daniel and Cassie’s beach proposal at The Old Man & The Sea, located at the Aruba Ocean Villas in Savaneta, was definitely one of those moments.

From the moment I arrived at the Aruba Ocean Villas, I knew this was going to be a special day. The ocean breeze was refreshing and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore was calming. The setting was perfect for a beach proposal in Aruba. The Old Man & The Sea is a beautiful restaurant located right on the beach. The ambiance is romantic and the views of the ocean are breathtaking.

The team of the Aruba Ocean Villas did an amazing job, there were flowers as part of the decor, candles lit all around, and a special table set up just for the two of them. I pretended to be the restaurant’s photographer and approached to couple to take a couple of photos. Daniel suggested to take photos at the beach, of course I agreed, and this was the perfect spot where he got down on one knee and asked Cassie to marry him. I could see the joy and surprise on Cassie’s face as she said YES! The emotions were overwhelming and I felt privileged to be there to capture such a special moment.

After the proposal, Daniel and Cassie enjoyed a romantic dinner at The Old Man & The Sea. The staff were amazing and made sure that everything was perfect. From the food to the drinks, everything was top-notch. As the sun set over the ocean, I took some more photos of the newly engaged couple. The love and happiness they shared was palpable.
