3 Tips On Getting Ready On Your Wedding Day
I just want you to take a minute and realize that this is a time where you and some of the people that mean the MOST to you are in one place at the same time with you. Everyone is excited, it’s raining mimosas, and oh yeah, you are about to get MARRIED!
Before you actually start getting ready, you need to get some things straight. Just like you would outline your whole wedding day, you also need to plan your morning.
The bridal gown has to breathe
The dress shouldn’t stay in the bag all morning. Hang your wedding gown in a pretty spot to allow for the fabric to settle and the dress to de-wrinkle.
You need light
The perfect room to get ready has to be large enough for all your bridesmaids, close family members, hair and makeup artists, and your photographer. Not only large but if the room has a great natural light I promise that your makeup artist and photographer will thank you later.
Planning is the key
Planning everything in advance is absolutely important as to how the day will go. Make a timeline. Share the timeline with the bridesmaids. Send a copy to the photographer and makeup artist. The only reason I want you to plan in advance is that you to have a stress-free wedding day. And which bride doesn’t want that?
Here’s a FREE Wedding Timeline Checklist. This checklist guides you through 12 months of the planning process, helps you to manage your time and helps you with your customizable to-do list.
Lastly, I want to remind you to enjoy the journey. You will be surrounded by your best friends and close family members, and these are the moments that you will cherish forever. So please, make sure the number one priority of your wedding planning is to have fun.
